Parental Support and Information

Early help, also known as early intervention, is support given to a family when a problem first emerges. It can be provided at any stage in a child or young person's life.
The Family Information Service offer a wide range of information advice, and signposting to support families, children and young people from 0 - 19 years of age (25 for young people with additional needs).

SENDIASS aim to help children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs or a disability (and their parents or carers) make choices and decisions about matters surrounding their special educational needs or disability with confidence.

Educational Psychologists are specialists in learning, emotional well-being and child development. They work directly or indirectly with children and young people. They also provide advice to parents and other adults who teach and support children.
Children’s Centres are places where families with young children from 0 to 4 years (0 to 8 years for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or disabilities) can easily access a range of services to support them.
