- Enable each child to achieve his or her full potential in levels of academic maturity, creativity, spirituality, physical development and independence
- Educate pupils in the principles of the Christian faith, promoting respect for moral values, differing races, religions and ways of life
- Awaken and develop every childs sense of self worth
- Develop respect, commitment and responsibility for others, to equip children to be able to make a positive contribution to the community in which they live
- Provide a wide variety of activities, visits and special events which enrich childrens learning
We remind all our children that they belong to several special families - their home family, their school family and a faith family.
Another important family within the school is the team to which all children and staff are assigned when they join the school.
Grindal - Green
Islip - Blue
Beckett - Red
Tenison - Yellow
Each week the children strive to put our school values into practice and earn valuable point for their team, which we celebrate every week.
Assemblies & Acts of Worship
We are very proud that our collective worship has been judged as outstanding. We use story telling moral issues and world news to empower our pupils to be caring global citizens. "Messages taught" through whole school and key stage assemblies have a direct and discernible impact on behaviour, attitudes, relationships and learning" SIAMS report 2015.
