£18,045 - £22,885 pro rata,
35 hours per week (to include 5 Inset Days plus 12 additional days)

The Governors of Archbishop Benson CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a new Office manager to join our administrative team and to provide efficient, responsive and high quality administrative support to the school under the direction of senior staff.
Archbishop Benson School is an inclusive, friendly and supportive primary school with a happy, hardworking and dedicated staff. We are looking for someone cheerful, helpful and efficient to be the face of our school and who enjoys working with children and in a busy environment. A major part of this job involves reception and hospitality as it is a front of house role so we need someone with person-centred skills and a strong relational approach. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a strong administration team including a school secretary, an admin assistant, a finance manager and an ICT & Communication officer.
Our Office Manager will:
• Manage the smooth & efficient running of the school’s administration systems & structures
• Manage the effective deployment of the school administration team
• Ensure that HR matters in school are in line with local and national HR policies and procedures
• Have experience of IT packages used in schools including SIMS (Student Information Management System).
• Have excellent organisational and communication skills
• Be able to use their own initiative as well as work as part of a team.
• Plan and prioritise their own workload to meet specific deadlines.
• Be approachable and friendly with all pupils, parents, staff and governors
