The Governors of Archbishop Benson CE Primary School ( a stand alone academy) are seeking to appoint a full time classteacher from September 2024. Applications from candidates with EYFS teaching experience would be most welcome.
We are seeking to appoint a teacher who:
- Has a specialism in EYFS through EYFS ITT or equivalent experience.
- is able to deliver high quality and effective phonics teaching in order to sustain our high level of achievement in the Y1 phonics screening and, with support, develop their skills to lead Phonics across EYFS/KS1
- Will be proactive in contributing to our ethos as a Church of England school
- is highly motivated and enthusiastic classroom practitioner with strong class management skills
- Has excellent subject knowledge and can deliver and model the curriculum creatively & cross-curricularly
- Can offer areas of expertise that can further enhance the school
- Maintain a dynamic and inspiring learning environment
- has experience of the use of data and data analysis in EYFS and is able to create and deliver adapted lessons lessons for all pupils
- has an excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and is able to motivate and challenge young learners, securing good outcomes
- is a team member with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a commitment to forming excellent relationships with parents/carers
