We are looking to appoint a Wraparound Care Leader to co-ordinate and manage our Wraparound Care provision in school.

We are looking to recruit a Leader for our Wraparound Club. The club will open every day during term time from 7.30am until 8.45a.m. and then from 3.15pm until 6.00pm. The school is looking to extend this provision into a Holiday Club in the future. The Club will be open to all children within ABB.

 

The key responsibilities will be to manage the daily running of ABB Wraparound Club, to maintain a safe and stimulating environment for play and relaxation and to create opportunities to encourage children’s social, emotional and physical development.

 

The role also includes managing the club’s staff team and to support them in their role, managing online bookings and monitoring payments, and maintaining high standards of safeguarding standards at all times.

 

We have flexibility within this role and would welcome discussions in order to find workable solution.

The successful candidate must have:

· A creative, fun and engaging approach with children

· Good interpersonal skills and be able to work flexibly and proactively within a rewarding but busy context.

· Good communication skills and an ability to use own initiative

· Successful and strong behaviour management skills (following the principles of the school Behaviour Policy closely) encompassing the principles of TIS and an empathetic approach to meeting children’s needs.

We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and will be assessed against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.

We are looking to appoint 2 TAs for a Y3 class. 

Position1: 27.5 hrs daily & 5 hours lunchtime supervision

Position 2: 16.25 hrs daily and 5 hours lunchtime supervision

The post is for term time only.

The post will entail working within the Y3 team.

The successful candidates must have:

  • The ability to work dynamically as a team member and  1:1 with pupils.
  • A creative, fun and engaging approach to learning.
  • Good interpersonal skills and be able to work flexibly and proactively within a rewarding but busy context.
  • Good communication skills and an ability to use own initiative
  • Successful and strong behaviour management skills (following the principles of the school Behaviour Policy closely) encompassing the principles of TIS and an empathetic approach to meeting children’s needs.
  • The ability to nurture and a commitment to Inclusion

 

The roles will entail:

Working with a range of pupils in class and pupils with additional needs across the working day in the Y3 classrooms.

Supporting children with achieving academic progress and their SEMH development.

The role will also entail flexible working within the team and across the school day.
